March ’22 TAAAP Pride Chats – Gender

The theme for March, partly in honor of National Women’s History Month in the US, is:

Gender? But I hardly know ‘er! Many aspec people have unusual relationships with gender, both their own and others’. So this month we’re focusing on gender, whatever that means to you, and particularly how it impacts and is impacted by being ace and/or aro!

The rest of the Discord will still be open, along with the channels specifically to discuss the Carnival of Aros and the Carnival of Aces.

This month’s chat will take place from 10:00 am Eastern Saturday, March 26 to 11:59 pm Eastern Sunday, March 27. (That’s 2 PM GMT Saturday through 3:59 AM Tuesday) Per usual we will try to have 2 hour voice chats both days, based on availability of participants.

Event Guidelines

The Ace and Aro Advocacy Project (TAAAP) is an organization dedicated to providing resources on asexuality and aromanticism to the public. TAAAP operates on a local level by working with other LGBTQ+ organizations in the DC Metro Area, as well as on the national level by working with other ace and aro advocates to further the national movement.

TAAAP’s goals are to increase the visibility of ace and aro identities, to provide resources on asexuality and aromanticism to professionals (e.g. doctors, mental health professionals, educators), and to support ace and aro members of society. TAAAP is closely partnered with Aces and Aros of the Mid-Atlantic, a social Meetup.com group for asexual- and/or aromantic-spectrum people in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
