This presentation was developed by Sam Helmick, Elizabeth Graham, and members of TAAAP for the Young Adult Library Services Symposium 2021. The theme of YALSA 2021 was “Biggest Little Safe Spaces: Serving Teens During Times of Adversity”. This presentation was titled “Safe Spaces for Aros and Aces” and discussed the basics of aromanticism and asexuality, provided resources on the identities, and gave advice on how to best create safe spaces for aro and ace youth.

There are also a number of recommendations of books, both for adults and teens. To check those books out, visit our Bookshop.org page!
